the Maola Ulu Mask Festival is an exciting singsing involving cultural groups from across the Witu (Garowe) and Bali (Unea) Island and other parts in the West New Britain Province perform traditional dance, ritual performanceand feasting. The Event was first staged in 2020 as an event to unify tribes.

Potpot Cultural Youth Group Led the opening program for the 2021 Maola Ulu Mask Festival.

The girls were standing in line with the lace of flowers, ready to be put on the the guest before they opt to the flag raising to officially opened the 2021 Maola Ulu Mask Festival at Vitughu Village, Witu Island.
